Under the Sea Assembly
The Homecoming Assembly took place on Friday September 30 following the campus-wide parade. It featured multiple singing, dancing and drumline performances by students, a carpool karaoke video, ocean themed games as well as a presentation honoring the legacy of a several LHS Alumni.
“I think the kids did so much good work on everything from the dances to the games, to the activities, all of it was just stellar.” Assistant Principal Brett Coffman said.
The event was all planned and put together by members of Leadership Council and StuCo. According to administrator Sara Wickham, it really highlighted the positive morale of LHS.
“Seeing all the school spirit and the roller coaster is always such a blast,” Wickham said. “I also loved the videos and the chance to honor our hall of fame inductees.”
The teachers weren’t the only ones who enjoyed the assembly.
“It was a lot of fun,” junior Diana Tran Said. “I was really cool that they involved everyone. I think it was my favorite assembly so far.”
