New Issue, New Opportunities
The last issue of the 2019-2020 Bell celebrates seniors and recognizes teachers who are moving on to new chapters.
Whether the obstacle be a worldwide pandemic quarantine or the introduction of new newspaper staff leadership team during a pandemic, The Bell keeps publishing. No matter what. With a fresh new staff taking on their new roles for the 2020-2021 school year, The Bell releases it’s virtual 2020 May Senior Issue, a record-breaking 68 pages celebrating seniors during an unprecedented time in world-wide history.
flip through virtual pages via phone or computer. Because of the whopping 30 pages of free senior ads, The Bell is also making this issue available to print through email to LHS students and their families this morning.
Though the pandemic keeps seniors and LHS staff who are leaving from the year-end festivities they deserve, the six stories, six spotlights, eight columns, and 240 senior ads (pages 38-67) of this issue remind everyone that, though life seems rough at the moment, everyone still has a life to live and a job to do. Whether that job involves a person helping the community (pages 6-7) or helping themselves succeed (pages 16-21), like The Bell, everyone has to keep moving forward and push past the obstacles this pandemic has created.
Though this year may feel like it’s been cut short, there’s still work to do for the remaining students and staff of LHS and an adventure awaits all of us. Whatever awaits you, just know that The Bell staff has you covered.
