Sophomore JaiDynn Sargent is the Sports SE on The Bell newspaper staff. She started journalism as a freshman after seeing a presentation in her middle school English class at LMS. She thought it would be a fun way to do something with her writing.

   “After the first issue, I fell in love with it and knew I wanted to pursue journalism after high school,” Sargent said.

   Besides Sargent’s life on The Bell,  she has other interests, including swimming for a Tsunami. Sargent started swimming with her twin sister when they were two years old because their mother swam in high school. When she turned three years old, she realized how much she loved swimming and wanted to start competing. She also participates in other school activities including Blue Crew Crazies and dive.
