Sophomore Lizzy Garr is entering her first year on Newspaper staff as a photographer. Though she has never been a part of the staff before this is not her first year doing photography. Previous to this year Garr worked for The Spectator Yearbook  taking photos her freshman year.

   “I really enjoy taking photos and I like the more practical art to it,” Garr said. 

   Garr takes inspiration from RM, a music artist who’s hobby is photography. He takes many photos of museums and during college was a part of many photography classes.

   Garr has been interested in photography since she was little, then she was able to start taking classes for it her freshman year.

   “One of my favorite things about photography is being able to capture things you may not see every day and being able to share that with other people,” Garr said. 

   Garr lives between her mom, Sabrina, and dad, Harry’s houses. When at her mom’s she is with her step dad Matt and when at her dads she is also with her step mom Amanda. Coming with her to both houses is her dog Abraham Lincoln who is a blue labradoodle with grey. gold, and black fur.

   In her free time Garr likes to play video games, paint and sew. Her favorite color is black and she would describe herself as quiet and reserved, differing between who she is with. Garr has a positive perception on joining The Bell this year.

   “I am most excited to be able to meet everyone new and expand my capabilities as a photographer while on staff this year,” Garr said.
