Lucas Kilgore, Reporter

Junior Lucas Kilgore is going into his second year of Newspaper thankful for the people he’s met in the class, and with some important goals for the upcoming school year.

“It’s a nice, good group of friends,” junior Lucas Kilgore said. “It’s almost like a community of people. It’s always been very welcoming.”

Kilgore is a reporter this year. He first joined the class as a way to contribute and to get more involved at LHS.

“It looked fun, it looked like a really engaging environment,” Kilgore said. “Something for me to do to really get involved in school.”

Outside of writing for the Newspaper, Kilgore not only likes to spend time with his loved ones, but also enjoys some unique hobbies.

“I like spending a lot of time with my family and with my friends. Other than that, I also play paintball and ride dirt bikes,” Kilgore said.

Even in the midst of an uncertain school year, he hopes to maintain his grades and have a successful year, both in Newspaper and in his other classes.

“I want to pass all my classes with an A, end the year with a 4.0, and really just make it through the year with relative ease,” Kilgore said.

Whether it’s playing paintball, riding a dirt bike, or writing for The Bell, Kilgore is sure to make the best of any situation he’s put in this year.
