Brookelyn Jadwin, Reporter
Brooklyn Jadwin, an LHS freshman, eagerly begins her high school journey as a new member of The Bell Newspaper staff. Jadwin made the decision to join The Bell after social media manager, Richard Burns, visited one of her classes in middle school to talk about the class.
Jadwin stated, “Everyone just seemed really nice and really welcoming, so I thought, ‘Oh, maybe this is a good class for me!’ Jadwin enters The Bell staff as a reporter, boasting important skills such as organization and writing abilities, having won first place in the poetry category of a local writing competition last year.
However, Jadwin has many skills outside of the classroom as well, playing both volleyball and soccer competitively, her soccer team at the national level. Despite only being a freshman, Jadwin already has a good grip as to what she’d like to do post high school, planning on pursuing a career in physical therapy, as she is currently unsure if she will decide to continue her athletic career after graduation. Jadwin states that so far, her favorite part of being on The Bell staff is the people and welcoming environment that comes along with it.
